About This Course

Crime and Trauma scenes frequently result in contamination of the environment.  In cases of delayed-discovery deaths, decomposition fluids and odors contribute to the contamination.  In addition to being psychologically harmful to view, these human remnants have the potential to harbor disease.  Crime scenes are also frequently contaminated by police forensic chemicals which can be difficult to remove.  In this course you will learn how to safely remove all biological contamination and cleanup all investigative chemicals while protecting yourself and others from these emotionally charged scenes.

This is a very science-heavy course compressed into ten hours of technical knowledge that will help to make you a well-rounded specialist in this field and qualifies for 10 CEU's from the IICRC and ABRA. YOU HAVE 40 DAYS TO COMPLETE THE COURSE FROM THE TIME YOU REGISTER.  You can stop the course and re-open it as needed. You can review each chapter or portion of each chapter as many times as needed until you feel you understand the material. There are quizzes at the end of each chapter. Once you reach the end of the course, you cannot go back. Just like an in-person course, when it's over....it's over. There is no book, cheat sheet or reference to accompany this course, so it's imperative that you take lots of notes. You can pause slides to give you time to write. If you have questions, I am here to answer, weekdays 10am to 5pm eastern time.

NOTICE:  YOU MUST VIEW EVERY SLIDE AND PASS EACH QUIZ SECTION TO QUALIFY FOR A N.I.D.S. COMPLETION CERTIFICATE.  (Yes, we monitor that)
